Angel Creek Stables is situated on 28 acres just south of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Established at a location nearby, Angel Creek Stables is named for a beautiful young horse named Angel. Angel, a former resident at Angel Creek, was only four years old when her life was cut short by an accident. To commemorate the life of a young horse who died much too soon, the barn was named for her, and for the scenic creek that ran through the former property, which is just a stone's throw from the current Angel Creek site. From its inception, Angel Creek Stables has been owned and maintained by Dr. Debra Girlinghouse, a Fort Smith dentist and riding enthusiast. At Angel Creek Stables, we can accommodate your riding mood, whether it be arena work or a trail ride. The current facility, now two years old, boasts a full-size dressage arena complete with lights for nighttime riding. Also, plentiful and beautiful trails are easily accessible from the Angel Creek property. Angel Creek Stables is home to a stunning array of Arabian and Half-Arabian horses. Our horses are given tender loving care in a safe environment. Very versatile, the Arabians of Angel Creek are happy when showing or riding the breathtaking trails of northwest Arkansas.
