One of the most successful stallions of all time, Aladdin began his career in Sweden. Pure polish, Aladdin was bred by Erik Erlandsson. Foaled in 1975, Aladdin won the Swedish national championship in 1978, just prior to being imported into the United States. In 1979, Aladdin, registered as *Aladdinn in the United States, won the United States national championship and became the first foreign national champion to win a U.S. title. Shortly thereafter, *Aladdinn became the first U.S. champion stallion to sire a U.S. champion stallion. *Aladdinn went on to sire four national champion stallions, as well as a national champion mare. With 266 champions and 63 national winners through 1997, *Aladdinn is considered to be the leading Polish sire of champions. He also sired 24 national champions in halter and performance and, through 1997, 69 of his get have produced national winners, as well. The highlights of *Aladdinn's show record include:
At Angel Creek Stables, we are proud of our *Aladdinn grandget: Bee; DAF Aladdadawn ("Dawn"); SheezaQTPie ("Nana"), who is also an *Aladdinn great-granddaughter; and Plain Vanilla ("Vanna"). |
