One of the breed's leading sires of champions and national winners, *Bask++ sired a total of 1,045 foals in the United States.  With a starting stud fee of $500 in 1963, the stud fee for *Bask++ went to a pricey $10,000 by 1975, four years before his death in 1979.

Foaled in Poland in 1956, *Bask++ enjoyed a four-year racing career before being imported into the United States in 1963.  Shortly after importation into the United States, *Bask++ became a U.S. National Champion Stallion and Scottsdale Park Champion in 1964.  In 1965, he was the Scottsdale Champion Stallion and U.S. National Park Champion.  The first horse to win national championships in both halter and performance, *Bask++ achieved Legion of Merit status in only four shows.  Before being retired to stud, *Bask++ went on to win a U.S. National Reserve Championship in Formal Driving and a U.S. National Reserve Championship in Formal Combination in 1967.

*Bask++ sired an incredible legacy.  In 1980 alone, at the Canadian and United States Nationals, *Bask++ get and grandget were responsible for 90 Top Tens, including 14 championships and six reserve championships.  Years after his death, *Bask++ bloodlines continue to be highly coveted by Arabian breeders seeking very athletic, beautiful offspring.

At Angel Creek Stables, we are proud of our *Bask++ grandget, OvationsFortuneSA ("Fortune"); our *Bask++ great-grandget, Plain Vanilla ("Vanna"); and our *Bask++ great-great-grandget, SheezaQTPie ("Nana") and Show Thyme ("Junior").
