Hannah says, "Ever since I was a little girl I’ve loved horses; seeing them grazing in pastures, getting pony rides at the fair, and buying little stuffed animal horses made me long for one of my own. When I was about 4 or 5, I got to ride a real horse for the first time. She was a big, white quarter horse and I loved every minute of it! After that experience, I did everything I could to convince my parents to go on a trail ride whenever we vacationed. I still remember our trip to San Francisco. My family and I decided to try a trail ride that led to the beach. As it turned out, my dad’s horse and mine decided to have a little race! We didn’t have much time to look at the scenery before it flew by. Needless to say, we made it back at least half an hour before my mom and brother did! Although I had never before ridden at such a fast pace, I loved it!" At 13, Hannah persuaded her parents to allow her to take English riding lessons and the arrangements were made. After a few months of lessons, she leased a horse from a nearby facility. Within a year, Hannah became the proud owner of Radical's Soldier Blue, a gorgeous gray Morab. Together, they made their way to Angel Creek Stables--and are a very welcome addition to the barn. About Blue, Hannah says, "Although he is stubborn at times, and I’ve had to learn a lot to be able to bring him as far as he is now, I wouldn’t change him or my experience for the world! In the three years I’ve been at Angel Creek with Blue, I’ve learned so much about horses and the sport I love: dressage. I really feel like Angel Creek Stables is my home away from home!"
