In every equestrienne's life, there is that special horse. That special horse with whom we have our first relationship. That special horse who teaches us to love and trust. That special horse who teaches us to ride. A beautiful purebred Arabian, Pooh is that special horse in the life of our dear Whitney. An older horse now, Pooh has been retired to spend the rest of her days being that special horse to many more children. Pooh is now a part of a therapeutic riding program that benefits children with disabilities--children who need the love, affection and confidence that a special horse can give. As she took care of Whitney for many years, Pooh will now take care of special children with special needs. We will miss Pooh at Angel Creek Stables. But we will find comfort in knowing that Pooh will continue to be that special horse to children who need her. And, in doing so, she will make us proud. |
