When Debra Girlinghouse married Tom Newman, the boarders at Angel Creek Stables got lucky, too. Tom spoils us by keeping the barn and surrounding property in top form, and we don't know what we would do without him. We're especially thankful for our covered, regulation-sized dressage arena, complete with lights. Just like anything crafted by Tom's hand, it is a work of art. Tom is the proud owner of Show Thyme, whom he showed to a win in the Tulsa State Fair Half-Arabian Weanling Colt Futurity in 2002. Also, in Tom's hand, Show Thyme, or "Junior", as we call him, took home a blue ribbon in the Half-Arabian Geldings Two and Under class, and won Reserve Championship Gelding competing against geldings of all ages. Tom is also the owner of Vanna's Best Thyme. As a rider, Tom enjoys the trail, and he enjoys the time he spends around the barn with the gang. |
